What is Balas?
Balas are short UHC Vanilla matches: 10 to 20 minutes per game. They are the most-played mode in Espectral — dozens of balas run every day, so you'll always find someone to queue with.
The appeal of balas is intensity: PvP comes faster, the map border closes sooner, and every decision matters. If you want to try UHC without committing to a 3-hour match, balas is the place to start.
When to play
Balas run daily on Discord. Check the announcements channel and join the next one. Lobbies fill up fast.
